Suggested Itinerary

Our van and driver would meet you at the port of Livorno as you disembark and accompany you to Pisa for a short stop to view the famous Leaning Tower and take a  few photos before heading further east to Florence, the renaissance capital built on the banks of the river Arno. Once you meet your guide, you will begin a walking tour of the historic center including a visit to the Academy Museum where you will bypass the lines to see the magnificent sculpture of David by Michelangelo before continuing on to see the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with its beautiful dome by Brunelleschi. Other treasures such as the Baptistry and Giotto’s Bell Tower will also be admired before reaching Piazza della Signoria, the ‘heart’ of Florence and the piazza and church of Santa Croce, where the great Michelangelo was buried. You may choose to have lunch here in one of the local trattorias before enjoying a few free hours of shopping and admiring the local goldsmiths and artisan shops.  

You would then join your driver for the return to the port of Livorno in time for your ship’s departure.   

A tour of this nature requires approximately 5 hours, plus three hours transport time from and back to the port.
